Your food, calmly.

Leanward is an iPhone diary for food, weight and fasting. With Hungarian foods and a barcode scanner, no account, on your phone.

Coming soon to the App Store · iPhone beta in November

Waiting list

The Diary tab: calories left for the day, protein, carbs and fat as bars, and the breakfast items below.

One day, one page.

The Diary shows what you ate meal by meal and how much of the daily target is left. Protein, carbs and fat get their own bars, with no streaks or badges.

Add food: search and barcode buttons, with bakery and canteen items below, such as a plain roll and a cheese scone.

The kifli counts too.

Hungarian foods and shop products, with typical portions. Search by name, or scan the barcode on food, drinks and alcohol, and repeat yesterday's dinner. You confirm a barcode result before it is saved.

The water card with a water target and quick-add buttons, water from drinks on its own line, and alcohol in units below.

Water counts too.

A water target with quick-add buttons, and the water from drinks on its own line. Beer, cider, wine and spirits can be added by barcode or by hand, and alcohol is tracked in units (1 unit = 10 g).

The AI proposal review screen: grams and calories editable per row, with a correction field below.

Snap it.

A food photo only proposes rows in grams, which you review and fix before anything is saved. It is off by default and you turn it on yourself. Only the photo goes to the server, no location. Everything else works the same with it off.

Editing a weigh-in: weight in kilograms on a scrollable scale, with the time below.

Where you are heading, not the daily swings.

The trend weight card shows where your weight is heading, not the daily swings. Your weigh-ins sit in order, and you can edit or delete them.

The Insights tab: not enough data yet, the forecast appears after about two weeks of logging.

A daily target that adapts.

Your daily target adjusts to you from your diary and your weight trend. In the first two weeks there is nothing to work from yet, and the Insights tab says so. The target never goes below a safety floor.

Stays on your phone.

No account, no analytics, no ads. What you enter stays on your phone. Only barcode and product searches go online, to the open Open Food Facts database. If you switch on AI photo logging yourself, only that one photo is sent for processing, with no location. Details in the privacy policy.
